Kelly O. Finnell, J.D., CLU, AIF® is one of the nation’s premier ESOP and Ownership Succession Planning consultants and one of the most sought-after speakers on this subject. He has spoken at more than 300 conferences and meetings throughout the U.S. and abroad in London and Sydney. Kelly has published dozens of articles on the use of ESOPs in Ownership Succession Planning, and has spent more than 35 years helping business owners design and execute succession strategies and ESOPs.

Kelly is a member of the Business Enterprise Institute (BEl), the nation’s leading organization of Exit Planning professionals, the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), and The ESOP Association.

Kelly graduated magna cum laude from the University of Memphis and from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was published in the Law Review, served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, received the American Jurisprudence Award for Equitable Remedies, received the Judge John D. Martin Scholarship, and was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Kelly has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary- professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh.

Kelly has served in leadership roles in numerous professional and community activities, including: President of the Memphis Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, Vestry Member and Treasurer of his church, President of Family Services of Memphis, as a member of the Board of Directors of Renasant Bank and the Economic Club of Memphis and on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Christian Brothers University School of Business.

Andrew T. Holmes, LL.M., QKA, joined Executive Financial Services, Inc. as Legal Counsel in 2010, and was promoted to Vice President and Shareholder in 2015. Andrew received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, where he was a member of the National Order of Barristers, was on the Dean’s list, served as Chair of the Moot Court Board’s External Competition Committee, and was a Regional Semifinalist in the 2009 National Trial Competition. Andrew also has an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University School of Law, where he received CALI awards for Excellence in Estate and Gift Taxation and in Practical Issues in Wealth Planning and Drafting. Andrew has attained a designation as a Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA) from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and he is a frequent speaker at various National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) events.

Benjamin A. Schultz joined Executive Financial Services as an intern in February, 2008. After graduating from Christian Brothers university in May of 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Ben became a junior analyst with EFS. After serving in that role for 10 years, Ben was promoted to senior analyst in 2018.

Ben is responsible for financial modeling for the Firm’s ESOP feasibility analysis, including preparing estimates of companies value, debt service structuring and ERISA compliance testings, as well as maintenance of the Firm’s IT systems.
