• A West Tennessee manufacturing company (Plastico) with 350 employees hired us to help design an ESOP that would be used to finance a management buy-out. We helped the company successfully execute the ESOP buy-out and continue to work with the company on the administration of its ESOP and 401(k) plans.
• A Memphis based industrial company (Milkco) with 800 employees sponsors a defined benefit pension plan. Due to the performance of the financial markets during 2000-2002, Milkco's annual pension contribution increased by more than $1,000,000. We implemented plan changes that have returned Milkco's pension costs to the desired level. Milkco hired us to help it design and implement pension cost control measures. We continue to consult with Milkco on an ongoing basis.
• One of the largest CPA firms in Memphis hired us to conduct an ERISA fiduciary audit of its 401(k) plan. As a result of the audit, the firm has instituted a number of key changes to its plan.
